OUTSTANDING SUCCESS

The three-day Residential Summer Wrestling Camp event for Northern Ireland was an outstanding success.

Hats Off to The Knockagh Raiders Wrestling Club, who; in conjunction with The Northern Ireland Olympic Wrestling Association (NIOWA) organised, what is fast becoming an extremely popular event.  The turnout was exceptional with enthusiastic varied calibre wrestlers from England, ROI, and Northern Ireland.

Rigorous coaching of wrestling techniques, nutrition workshops, and mental focus was the agenda, however, it was not all work and no play; games incorporated into the regime focused on wrestling techniques which made learning, fun for all.

The massive amount of support for the Wrestling Camp was remarkable, not only from the Wrestlers who attended, but from the voluntary members of the NIOWA and Knockagh Raiders Wrestling Club, Larne Panthers Wrestling Club and The Waterside Sharks Takedown Club, who contributed their time and unrelenting energy to make the event an unrivalled success.

The Knockagh Raiders Wrestling Club and the NIOWA wish to express their thanks to everyone who attended the second Summer Wrestling Camp 2007 in Northern Ireland.
